14 Steps to My Post-Breakup Power Era 💅🔥
1. Blocked off everything. No contact is the way. (Definitely guilty of unblocking multiple times but still x)
2. Followed every Instagram page about positivity, healing and wisdom. Constant reminders that everything will be okay. Faves include @lawofattractionlive @thepositiveminds @spiritualist_within
3. Got a hot personal trainer. Keeps you fit and gives you something nice to look at.
4. Read an empowering book. “How to Get Over a Boy” is a must.
5. Wrote down every feeling through the breakup. The anger, the sadness, the peace, the acceptance, all of it.
6. Changed my best friend’s contact name to my ex’s and his name to hers. Helps stop those impulsive “I miss you” texts. She’ll know exactly what to reply.
7. Avoided the rebound. Waited at least three weeks before talking to anyone new. No messy energy and no setbacks.
8. Focused on me. Did groceries, went to the gym, changed my sheets, bought face masks, had bubble baths and celebrated independence.
9. Planned a night out with the girls. Laughter heals.
10. Tried something new. Pole dancing, cooking, acting, anything that reignites your spark.
11. Made a vision board of everything I truly want. Happiness, peace, glow.
12. Booked a solo photoshoot. Promoting self love because I’m hot AF.
13. When I thought of him, I said “I’m sending him love and light” then let it go.
14. Forgave him. Not for him, but for me. Forgiveness means freedom.
15. (Optional cheeky extra but not recommended) Egged his house with my sister while she was pregnant (yes, she actually egged it with me). Not my proudest moment but definitely the funniest. Healing takes many forms babez xx
